Bexo is a grumpy dragon shifter who enjoys the peace and quiet of his farm. He doesn't like surprise visitors. That is, until Autumn crashes into his life.

When Autumn Jones’s escape pod crashes on an alien planet, she knows the dragon with razor-sharp teeth is going to devour her. But when said dragon shifts into a man covered in muscles and tattoos, she thinks maybe she’s okay with that.

Bexo, draxilio shifter, has only one cup, one chair, and one eating utensil in his home—on purpose. Others aren’t welcome. So when his mate lands in his lap, he doesn’t know what to think. Except that he’s determined to keep her.

But his genetic modifications won’t allow him to trust her. What type of relationship can exist without trust? If Bexo wants to keep the woman destined to be his, he must overcome his nature or spend the rest of his life alone.

When ongoing storms keep them stuck together inside Bexo’s farmhouse, tensions rise, and while it draws their bodies together like magnets, it also forces them to reevaluate what they want, and who they want to become. 

Bexo wants more than the quiet life he’s built. He wants her. But a relationship without trust is bound to fail. Unless Autumn can heal the parts of him he was certain were broken.
